Van Xavier helped me so much. I was at the point of not even wanting to continue with Cove since my experience with other employees were horrible. (rude, ending chats in the middle of me explaining the issue, ect.) He was so friendly and understanding. More people in customer service need to be as helpful as him. My equipment is now one year old.
I had a problem with a smoke/CO sensor. Cove sent me a new one after some troubleshooting couldn’t fix it.

My panel told me I had a low battery…
My panel told me I had a low battery alarm on my door sensor, and I had no Idea that the sensor might have a battery in them, so I called Cove. The lady I talked to told me how to reset it, which didn't work and she explained to me that if it continues to show that alarm then call Cove back and they would replace the sensor. So about 4 hours later I recontacted Cove and they are sending me a new sensor, because the door alarm is still reading Battery issues.

Setup complete / issue quickly resolved
We completed initial setup and had also ordered a lot of extra sensors, different detectors and all. We are not technical wizards by any sense of the word and put off the install for a few weeks too. We watched a couple videos and finally took the plunge. It could not have been easier!!! Customer service quickly guided us through any questions seamlessly too. Minor issue with glass break sensor resolved quickly. System very user friendly and little booklet that comes with the system covers it all too with simple, easy to understand instructions. Very happy with both the purchase and customer service response too!!!

I called to add the Cove doorbell to my system. My WiFi goes between 2.4 & 5. My internet provider said that other things in my home kind of choose between the 2.4 or 5. My phone operates on 5. In talking with a Cove person he let me know that with my WiFi their doorbell might be intermittent & that it needs the 2.4 but it can’t choose. So I didn’t buy the doorbell but I appreciated their honesty & their help. Cove, please let me know when you have a doorbell available that will work for me. I’m not very good at technical stuff so that stuff was confusing to me. I love my Cove Security System. Makes me feel safe.
