Cove provides a good, basic, reasonably priced DIY alarm set-up. Easy to order, install and operate. A good system for someone who isn't looking for extensive smart home features. Experience with customer service has been excellent.

Excellent customer service

We are still in the process of installing the sensors in the house when we ran into an issue that one of the window sensors is being read as duplicate of another sensor by the control panel. I called it in to the customer care and the wait time was not that bad considering it’s a Sunday afternoon PST. Nery, our customer care specialist managed to walk us through to troubleshoot the problem with ease! And I thought we had to return the duplicating sensor to be replaced. Thank goodness I didn’t let the bad reviews about their customer service get to me without trying to call them & experience their service first hand. Thanks Cove!

I just installed our Cove Home Security System We couldn’t get it to connect to the network. A call to customer service was great. Lyn walked me right through it. She was kind and patient. After that, the install was easy. I love not having to lock in to a contract.

Once I called

Once I called, things got better. My customer care person knew exactly what to do. We got things work. I Thought I was on test, but our great St. Marys, GA Police Officer came to my door. He said they got notified from my security service. He came by to everything was OK. I told them thanks for checking on us and I was sorry for the faults alarm. But I learned one thing, our Police Department is right on top.

Completed installation with phone support

I had trouble installing some of the components. I was always able to talk to a real person who was always able to assist me with my installation. Everything is up and running perfectly. I'm a 66 year old woman with normal technology knowledge for my age and was able to complete the installation with phone support when needed. The staff was very, very, pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable about their products. I am a very satisfied customer and will recommend this company to my friends.

Happy Overall

Quick arrival, easy install, easy user friendly platform. Customer service is also great. So far very happy with our purchase! The only thing I would update would be the Cove App alerts section to be more user friendly and consistent for the customers.

At the start of ourconversation I had a bunch of questions that I had felt stupid for asking. Xavier didn't treat me like I was stupid for the questions and concerns that I had. Xavier definitely put my mind at ease. He was extremely professional, polite and seemed like he geniunely cared about all of the questions I asked. He had absolutely no problem explaining it to me in a way that not only relieved my anxieties, but he also made me feel very confident in choosing Cove for my home security company. Xavier is an outstanding, polite and caring person that Cove is lucky to have as an employee. I recieved my Cove security system in the mail today. I initially had second thoughts because of the concerns and questions that we talked through. Great first experience with cove. After years of sitting through long call wait times with our past security company (ADT), it’s refreshing to get to speak to an actual rep within 2 minutes! Fantastic!
