Robert was most helpful in answering my questions during the discovery process. His indepth knowledge of the components, system and app & patience in answering my numerous questions, helped swing me away from their competitor and so I went with them.
Shipment was via Fedex ground, took 5 days (2 days faster than committed) to reach Ca. All components were present and working.
Setup was easy, and when I had questions, I called their helpdesk, and the folks there were super patient and helpful! The components were easy to add to the system, and worked the first time around.
The control panel was easy to navigate, and attractive. The app works, could be "nicer" in appearance, but it works, so good enough.
Monitoring cost is reasonable.
Overall, the system is simple and easy to use, but I am most impressed by the polite and helpful CS. They actually seemed happy working at Cove (unlike the CS-es I encountered with my previous security monitoring company...)

LOVE OUR NEW COVE ALARM SYSTEM!!
From the first day that we called Cove to learn about their security system, to the final home installation, we can tell you that we have received excellent customer service from Cove the whole journey. We decided to have Hello Tech install our system—a company that Cove partners with for folks who elect not to install their own system. That was the only hiccup—using Hello Tech. We had to wait 4 days for a tech to come in for installation. The tech was friendly, but we felt that he took much longer than expected to install (4 hrs). After he left, some of the sensors did not work properly.
We contacted Cove, and they, immediately and professionally, walked us through on the phone how to remedy the issues. They stayed on the phone with us every step of the way.
We realized that we could have easily installed the system ourselves. We have now been using our new Cove Security System for over a week. No hiccups, perfect in every way. And, we did not spend an arm and leg for the system! We did purchase the package that gives us lifetime parts replacement coverage and locked in monthly monitoring prices for life. And, best of all, NO CONTRACTS!
By the way, we had an opportunity to try out the Monitoring Center’s expertise, too. Yes, we were experimenting with different features of the system, and accidentally set off the burglar alarm. Within seconds, a monitoring rep was asking over the panel if we were ok. After giving our verbal password, we were able to cancel the false alarm.
Cove has proven to be excellent in every way.
This is our 3rd Security System (3 different homes), and we highly recommend Cove over all others. And, don’t forget, you have 60 days to try out Cove. If for any reason you don’t care for the System, you get your $$$ back.
