Great customer service
So far I can only comment on the ordering, delivery and setup process, all which were great. Cove has been very responsive to all my questions - and I had many. Polite, professional staff every step of the way. I’m very happy so far.
Top notch customer service!
I ordered a decently large system, and I was surprised that Cove could handle it all honestly. We bought a system years ago from Vivent at our old house and there were limitations to how many devices it could support. Glad to see these limitations don’t exist anymore. Also, due to Covid-19 they’re packaging isn’t what they normally send out due to low stock, and they have an apology note with your equipment. Totally understandable and I’m not a huge packaging snob by any means. The packaging was more then adequate.
I have called support a couple of times, and have had amazing service each time. The first time was because not everything showed up in one shipment, but I was unaware there were multiple shipments. Also, one of the flood sensors was damaged. They shipped me out a new one no questions asked. Second call was because I didn’t know what the default passcode was. Again, super friendly service and it was super quick to get my answers. Third time was to order additional sensor and check about retroactively adding military discounts to my order. Again, great customer service, got my questions answered and they’re going to add the discounts.
System was extremely easy to setup. The only thing is there are a couple of things in the manual that are wrong. It says to install Carbon Monoxide detectors at light switch height or higher. This is wrong, and confirmed by customer service. You should install them low as Carbon Monoxide is a heavy gas. The other thing wrong in the manual was that it showed a combo smoke/carbon monoxide unit. They don’t offer that anymore because it’s pointless. You don’t want your Carbon Monoxide detector as high as your smoke detector...you’ll be dead by the time it goes off. I could have an outdated manual for sure...but those were the big ones I saw.

Camera set up
Steven was very helpful in getting my camera set up. I could not figure it out to save my life. But he reassured me and walked me thru the set up even waiting at times for the wifi to connect. He was very patient with me in situations I made an error which delayed the setup. He would make me laugh and walk me through it to correct the error. Awesome experience!!!!

beyond 5 star customer service
I have not received my alarm system yet (set to arrive tomorrow), so I can’t speak to monitoring services at this time. I will say customer service was beyond 5 stars. I emailed about my pricing and Nathan emailed me promptly and was so courteous. He was able to come to a resolution I am beyond happy with. His emails were professional and gives me the impression that I have made a great decision. I switched from another well known, 3 letter company, with high prices, mediocre customer service, and long contracts. My experience with cove so far has been beyond 5 stars. My system shipped within 1 day or order, will be here within 2 days of shipping, and my inquires have been answered within 24 hours (despite the pandemic). Their pricing is on target with the market and their discounts awesome. So far I totally recommend switching to Cove!

Cove Customer Service is Amazing!!!
My set up with Cove was extremely easy. However what made it much sweeter was the customer service support that I got from Jasmine. If there was an Oscar for customer service she should definitely receive it. She solved my problems and made me feel good about joining the Cove family.

I have been an IT professional for 25 years. I have owned my own IT company and worked in the education field my entire career. I have installed security systems and used them. I have never had a system at my own house. Recently I decided to start researching systems. I hit up a couple but the pricing they gave me just didn’t make sense. I almost pulled the trigger but stopped myself because I couldn’t justify spending that amount of money or the monthly fees. I came across an Ad for Cove on Facebook and decided to check them out. What I saw and read at first seemed too good to be true after my experiences and research with the other companies. I dug deeper, looked at reviews, watched videos, and decided to check them out. Using their interview process to order the components I was seeking and setting up the service I wanted was the easiest thing I had done the entire time I had been looking at other companies. I placed my order and received my equipment just a couple of days later. Everything came pre-configured and led me through each component as I installed the system. Being in the IT field I’ve installed tons of equipment over the years but this system is the real deal! If you are seeking a security system this is the one to get. Trust me I did my research!

My order, 10 star amazing courteous, informative reps, walked me through info for full home protection. Explained specifics explained planned optional equip due to corvis19 delays some new options back ordered, but compared to 4 top vendors monitored, costs better despatch reaction policies, BEST of all equipment cost, ease of preprogrammed sectors, names as I wanted shipped for easy self install, lifetime warranty as long as I keep monitoring, PRICES 2/3rds off other some lifetime and most 1 year no options to buy service, others wanted hook up, connection fees, I hot 1 free camera prices 4 times lower same quality as completion essentially all grer own full life time warranty, no hidden charges 90 dat return prepaid return so entire system no contract except monthly agreement to keep lifetime warranty plug and use, bost $400. Top 3 4 major providers were I would pay financed $1200., for same place higher monitoring monthly if I finance 3 to 5 years cost were almost $90., month with gear no warranty after 1 hear 5 year plan 3 year plans required unbreakable contract.
COVE had none of the BS huge money making for equipment. ALL CIMPETITORS Mark Up's were 200 to 300% some 1 year on equipment inkt other through contract after that even with huge Mark's monitoring after drilling 4 competitors it came down they raise montering double you get no money but actually penalized after contract even if you kept monitoring review of COVES deal if you carry reasonable service and equip monthly only required $135., rounded off, I purchased all it was truly better gear, service wifi and cellular back you can add sd recording 68 gigs per unit or fir seperate company $10., a month for cloud storage for camera and alerts records logs up to a year of storage so 1 year review can retrieve all the hundreds of 24/7 live 1080 × 760 HD quality wide angle cameras same motion detection, you can set change arm or disarm all geae on hime panel or several android google or imac phones, so no panel necessary great entry/exit times to vacate or return home. So if away ststem notifies you and other3 up to 3 I believe you receive notified when not home, then if you don't respond they call your cell phone to clarify despatch decisions if 2bd or 3rd notifier don't answer they dispatch police or fire depending on detectors. But always police. You get professional certified insurance certificates for hone owners discounts, so you can save depending on your policy terms 10% to 20% on you annual premium, determined by carrier but they offer offical recognized legitment certified services so it's honored by all insurance carriers that offer it.
Overall compared aside from lifetime equipment guarantees, locked for 3 year monitoring services plus packages, relocation move etc., can be revised. It on average saved me other not better some not so qenious ripping you off in high equipment cost, low slow and pricey monthly montering, they offer 5 star great reviews and averaging same competitions for less or equal equipment and so called best montoring services when rated poor customer service dispatch times, the cost as example no contract with COVE vs., had I chosen they bill monthly $400.00 dollar and plus monitoring I would have paid $49 to $50 but out only $29.95 as with 75% lower electronic great equipment eash to use remote service etc., monitoring others wanted 3 yo 5 years non revocable cintract for services and geat from $55. To 75., for my package when my full coverage equipment and montoring would be 9 months at $50., a month then full warranty and inky $29., a month monitoring thereafter. Competitors 3 yo 5 years financed, 50 to 100 dollars in locked contract many only 1 year warranty on gear same at 300% more in pricing.
COVE with in depth research, specifications, service was fablous truly 5+ star service over the 4 top option, with 3 to 5 year locked contracts also they require install fee's reinstall fee if you move oh removing gear to move
