Just setup my system had few cliches on my part, customer service was right there getting me up and running.

Because of the historic nature and size…

Because of the historic nature and size (15+ rooms , 4 stories) of my home, installation was a little tricky. Even though Several floor level windows are difficult to open, without damaging, I knew someone intent on getting in would have no qualms in taking a pry bar to them, so I still wanted a sensor on them. However, to test the system, I the windows have to be opened, and so the auto install stopped progressing. Once I called in, the tech figured out she would need to override that, and it went fairly smoothly afterward. While the system is designed for easy installation their are glitches such as installing sensors into system. One thing I would like is being out to create my own sensor “labels), so they made sense to me and my household, such as “Nana’s Bedroom” or “Granddad’s kitchen window”, my home has two kitchens. I know in event of a window sensor we will be totally clueless!!! There are 52 windows in this house! While we don’t have sensors on all those windows, Only I know which windows do have sensors, and with these labels (Back window 1-5) even I would be hard put to know which is which. Other than that the system seems to do what it is supposed to. I love that I earn money toward new sensors each month. I also love how responsive the call center is. When I first installed my fire and smoke detector it activated and even though I cancelled it they called right away. All in all, I love it!

I wish everyone's customer service was like theirs.

I researched many systems and made my decision on two things. Cost of equipment and the reviews that the company had. Cove hit both of those marks. Their customer service didn't seem real, but I went with it. I received my equipment in the amount of time that they said. Went to do the first step of plugging panel in and it did not power up. I checked my outlet, which was fine, and called customer service. Within 10 min and a few troubleshooting techniques they had a replacement on its way. It showed up the next day. Set up was simple and easy and I dealt with customer service again in regards to a few questions I had about the app. System and customer service are great. Looking forward to all the new features that to come in the future.

SO FAR after receiving system 3 days…

SO FAR after receiving system 3 days past: Cove has been very receptive to customers calling for inquiries and system set-up (even though fairly simple to set-up once understanding all parameters). For this Cove gets 5 Stars. I'm new to this system and do have some misgivings about the system capabilities. For this only 3 Stars. It seems a Wireless Translator is needed for reaching to outlying Sensors at 75 feet or so from base unit (non-straight-line-of-sight-to-sensors). Why doesn't Cove carry one (at a low price or for FREE to Cove customers) to assist customers in getting and keeping Cove? AT&T reception between wireless devices is somewhat limited in my home area located in a non-heavy-populated area, so strategic placing of Base Unit is critical but also intrusive in "happy home" environment; i.e. not conducive to just placing just anywhere useful. However, once reception was established, by moving base unit around, the system works fine but it will not remain on dining room table after the 60 day trial period. I have a wireless add-on "hot spot", furnished for free by my cell phone company, so that wireless works great in home but it is not AT&T. Not everyone lives in a town with a cell tower in their backyard. This was and is the same problem with other wireless systems when trying to add-on sensors to detached structures at 75 feet which is well within the transmitting distance to the base unit. Time will tell if an additional system is tested for better capabilities. By the way; my previous system lasted for 12 years and it was wireless but panel and keypad were wired and became faulty after that length of time so a newer system was warranted. Seems all or most newer wireless systems have some of the same limitations. As I stated, once "contact" was made everything worked great; just finessing locations.

I spent hours searching for the right home security system. And now without a doubt after receiving my chosen alarm system, I made a GREAT decision. Hands down the BEST in the industry. Lora was simply AMAZING!! I was very concerned about getting my home properly secured/monitored. As such, I had a thousand questions and needed clarification about everything!! Lora was very calm, patient, informative, helpful and honest to say the least. She not only called me back as promised as I preferred speaking with her. I'd called the company a few times prior and didn't particularly feel comfortable with the other persons I spoke with. She went the extra mile and stayed on the phone with me an hour to bring the order to completion. I am very grateful and feeling so much better about being that much closer to getting my home secured. Please be sure that this is recorded in her personal file... Thanks again Lora.

We bought Cove for our home in…

We bought Cove for our home in September after our home was broken into while we were out of town! We've been nothing but happy with the products and service we have recieved. We recieved a smoke detector that had a defect so we had to have a new one sent to us. We hadn't received it after a month or so, so we called for an explanation and within a matter of a 2 minutes phone call, she had one sent out for us and gave us a month of free service due to the inconvenience. We are very happy with cove and the at ease feeling that comes with having an effective home security system without breaking the bank!

Okay here’s my quick review

Okay here’s my quick review. I ordered on Friday November 8th after hours . I wanted more sensors ,a motion detector and to change my plan to cove plus . So I chatted with Elias G on online chat . They were very quick and helped me set up for my app . They ordered the extra things I wanted and said my original order was already shipped so I would get that new order after . However I received both orders today Tuesday November 12th . Set up was very easy and simple . However I did have one door sensor that the monitor kept saying tampered with also was missing my stickers and out door sign . Spoke with a wonderful rep name Jasmine and we tried to reprogram it (didn’t work) I was told to take it off and she would ship me out another . Also she would be shipping me out the widow stickers and outdoor sign .. She was great! Jasmine is an amazing rep . I even have a door sensor on my tiny house / sheshed in the back of my property that works great ! Overall my experience with cove has been great except for one or two mishaps ( no email for tracking and faulty door sensor) Cove is pretty great and quick with things . I love cove ❤️❤️❤️ Oh let’s not forget the free camera!!

New Cove User

Definitely have to give this system a 5 star. The system itself was very cost effective unlike a lot of others on the market. Setup was very simple and i have a large home. And i had to call customer service for my login and password and she was able to take care of my needs on the spot. definitely all around worth the 5 star rating.
