Much better than the competition!

I've used a competitors system for years, and felt stuck with their subpar customer service. My brinks system functioned poorly and the sensors were cheaply built. However, my cove system is extremely well built and has given me absolutely no issues. By far, Cove has offered me the best customer support of any monitoring system that I've ever used. If this company can be this successful right out of the gate, I'm excited to see the improvements made as they find their footing in this market.

Consultant spent a load of time helping…

Consultant spent a load of time helping me sort transition from a previous provider, insuring existing sensors were compatible, etc. - and strategizing about everything from sensor collection and deployment to transition - and protocols. The equipment arrived quickly and was INCREDIBLY FAST AND EASY to set up. Instructions were clear; touchpad was easy to run; consultants were again available, friendly, fast, professional and helpful from setup through testing. Technical questions that arose a few weeks later were addressed immediately - even outside business hours - and with multiple personal phone calls over a couple of days - including a smooth escalation to a tech guru. All issues resolved very smoothly. I don't think I could design a better experience, and I'll recommend Cove to anyone who needs a system.

Cove made it easy to get what I wanted for a good price. I did the installation myaelf in less than 30 mins. We feel much safer now. We have had to get used to having a system in our house and have set off the alarm by accident. Do so allowed us to see that Cove's response time is amazingly fast!

I have been very please with Cove

I have been very please with Cove. I had one problem with a window sensor. Called them and with help from them I resolved the problem over the phone. It was very easy to install. The alarm was accidentally set off. They contacted me right away to check on the alarm and to verify if it was real or false alarm. Very responsive and I have told others about Cove. Will continue to recommend to others.

Couldn't be more pleased.

After researching every system I could find on the Internet, it was obvious that Cove offered the best deal out there. Cove offers several payment plans to get started, including not paying at all for equipment. With that one, their monthly cost for monitoring with cell phone control is less than most of their competitors. Do like I did and pay for the equipment up front, and it's down to $25/month plus a $5/month credit toward future equipment. Their product is state of the art and looks good, and a snap to install. I couldn't be more pleased with this decision.

Pleasantly Impressed

Cove is the first company that I've felt comfortable using as a security system provider because it is an economical option, but still get the same if not better equipment that is offered from other providers. I really like that it's something I can set up on my own and tailor to my own needs. I was surprised how easy and intuitive it was to go through the set up process on my own. To be honest, I did have one minor hiccup that I decided to call and get help with, after calling I was told that it would likely be the next morning before they could get my problem solved since it was after their regular business hours, but they would see what they could do. That wasn't a big deal for me anyway, but less than 30 minutes after I hung up, I got a text saying they would be calling me to sort out the problem and only a few minutes after that my phone rang. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and were able to get it sorted out. I was very pleased with their prompt response to my specific needs, it made it that much more of an enjoyable process for me to get my system up and running. The next day I called with some more questions about my new system and again was surprised with how efficient they were in being able to help me with my questions and understanding of what I needed to know. Overall it has been an outstanding product and customer service experience for me. From the ordering process, less than 24hrs later my order was in the mail on it's way, through the set up and use of my system, and the quality of the equipment, has all been very impressive so far. I'm not usually the type of person to leave lengthy reviews, but it's been obvious to me the folks at Cove are doing things right and I figure that's worth saying something about. I will definitely recommend this to everyone.

Excellent, easy, affordable

I received my Cove security system recently and am very impressed. Cove advertises as "easy to install", and it really is - I've never seen anything so well organized, with detailed, clear instructions; and the setup wizard on the panel itself is flawless. The panel and remote are visually appealing and really impressive pieces of technology. The only setup trouble I had was that my front door is recessed rather than flush with the frame, so I had to cut and install a small board on the door for the sensor to attach to. But everything on Cove's end was a breeze. The agents I spoke to before ordering and during activation were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and helped me get exactly what I needed. I like that they gave me 2 hours to play with the panel and sensors after activation to test it. My home's wiring is 74 years old and not in great shape, so even though I live two doors down from the fire department I'm especially glad to have the smoke alarm. I feel better knowing my pets are safe while I'm at work. I was preparing to order from a competing company, but was sold on Cove because they offer the option to not buy all the equipment upfront and pay $10 more each month instead (which is still very affordable). While I hope I never have a situation where it's needed, I'm very grateful for and happy with my Cove system so far and would highly recommend it to others who could affordably benefit from peace of mind.

Amazing customer service

Amazing customer service, it’s only been a week and I have called numerous times and it’s been a pleasant experience each time. Prompt and speedy response times when an alarm goes off, more than attentive representatives and it’s all been quick and easy on my part. Happy since it came so early, My wife installed the system while I was away from home. Great company.

Wonderful customer service and product Even when I had a hard time getting my system set up properly (ended up having a mysterious - and non-existent- second remote triggering a panic alarm), Cove faithfully called me each time to make sure I was ok, and walked me step-by-step through rectifying the issue. Ryan was my primary customer service professional, and I'd be more than happy if he were my assigned associate (if that ever became a thing) in the future. Oh! And the pricing model is incredible. They offered to ship me extra pieces of hardware just make sure I was taking full advantage of the offer - who even does that?!

Excellent support, Easy to install and upgrade, Low monitoring cost

I was able to talk to Cove support before deciding to buy and they answered all my questions in a straight forward manner. I was able to reuse wireless sensors that were out of contract with ADT which saved me equipment cost. I chose to pay up front and get value monitoring. Equipment arrived in a timely manner and was simple to install except for testing some of my ADT motion sensors. Cove support resolved the issue quickly. I have found the system very user friendly. I have some minor issues with the phone app but it does what it claims to do. I am now paying monitoring costs less than half what I was paying ADT and I get a $5 monthly credit for expanding my system later. I've had the system for about a month now and all my interactions with Cove have been very positive. I would strongly recommend Cove to any home owner!

I ran across "Cove" via Reddit ... I inquired about being a beta tester.... I as told Beta Testing was done. I continued to speak with Steve for over an hour ... close to 2 hours ... about the product and what it currently can and can't do... along with what the future plans are. Steve was very helpful in answering my questions and providing me info on the future plans ... he also appeared to LISTEN (which is RARE these days) and care about what I had to say/ask/suggest. After spending an "abnormal" amount of time listening to me and answering my questions I decided this seems like a legit and caring company that I was willing to trust myself and my family with. Upon receiving the equipment I did have some further questions (though set-up was easy) and I was able to contact company and get all my "extra" questions answered ... and we did a little trouble shooting with the Iphone app. All in all I really believe in Cove and wish them a Great future and look forward to partaking in their planned advancements. These guys are great

These guys are great! I placed my order, it came quickly and I loved the way the package was organized. I installed it myself in about 10 minutes due to the easy step by step walkthrough for installation. (I actually broke one of my door sensors (my fault) but I called them and I had a new one the next day.) I highly recommend this company. I've had ADT for 10 years. I compared the price and by switching to Cove I would save almost $500/year. I called ADT before I switched and told them I was considering changing but they couldn't get close to the Cove price. Great product and service.

What more could you ask for?

Cove has been amazing to work with, they're prompt and responsive in their customer service and offer an incredible value. I love that they offer a month-to-month service at such an affordable rate. Self-setup was quick and easy too. What more could you ask for?

Great security system

Great security system. Super easy to install and very reliable. The system is also simple to use and has most features I need and rely on to keep my home secure. The one feature that isn’t available yet but I’m told are in the works is cameras both internal and a doorbell camera. I’d love to see those become available in the future. I love the phone app. I love the door and window sensors. I haven’t triggered the flood sensor but it’s nice to know it’s there. Love the carbon monoxide detector as well. I wish there were two main control centers but one is ok. The app on the phone allows me to control everything but I would love to have a main control center up stairs and down stairs. It would be cool to be able to use with an Alexa type device. There are a lot of really useful features on this system that have really come in handy like being able to set and deactivate the alarm from my phone and the sensors tell me specifically which doors and windows open. Really gives me and my family peace of mind.

Absolutely incredible company

Absolutely incredible company, definitely worth the small cost for big protection. First of all the online questionnaire is extremely easy to use and automatically picks out the equipment for you. Then once you have completed the questionnaire your equipment is shipped by the end of the day and on your doorstep in two days. Once I had the box the touch screen panel talked me through the whole process which was very easy as well even someone who is tech illiterate can set it up. I only had one issue with using the iPhone application and the Cove support representative fixed it immediately. So far I am very impressed and happy with choosing cove. Keep up the good work Cove!
