The support rep. Mary Grace, was able to solve the issue within a short time, which was much appreciated on my end. It's great to be able to get help over a chat when calling customer support may not be an option at the time support is needed. Update: Had another sensor that would not register with my system and this time Geraldine had it resolved just as quick. The quick and friendly service is very much appreciated.

2-Year Review: Great Value, Honored Price Lock, and True "No-Hassle" Warranty

We became Cove customers in May 2024, drawn in by their affordable DIY installation and a sales pitch promising a lifetime "price lock" if we purchased the Cove Plus monitoring tier. The Good: * Unbeatable Price Value: Cove easily beats the pricing of its major competitors. * Honoring the Price Lock: There have been three separate occasions where they attempted to increase our monthly monitoring price. However, each time I called to bring it to their attention, customer service quickly corrected it. They don’t advertise these mistakes, so you definitely have to stay on top of your billing, but they always honor their word without a fight. * Simple Setup: The physical DIY installation was incredibly easy and painless to get up and running. * True No-Hassle Lifetime Warranty: They absolutely back up their warranty promises. Last summer during the monsoons, our touchpad stopped lighting up. I called customer service and received A+ service—they immediately sent out a brand-new replacement pad without making me jump through hoops or meet strict requirements. The Quirks: * Tricky Smart Home Integration: Integrating the system with Amazon Alexa was a bit complicated. The required voice command phrases are not very intuitive or what you would normally expect. I actually had to write the specific call-out phrases down on a cheat sheet and tape it to our couch console so the family remembers how to control it. Verdict: Overall, we are very happy after two years. If you want great security that beats competitor prices—and you don't mind keeping an eye on your bill and learning a few specific Alexa commands—Cove is an excellent choice.

Called customer service and spoke with Ariel, he was very kind and thoroughly explained what was necessary in order to make purchase with credits.
